Four months have passed since the Kumamoto Earthquake which occurred in April 2016. Ten representatives of Japan and other countries who took part in Miss International Pageant 2015 and 2016 traveled all regions in Kyushu as restoration support. Those representatives with beauty titles are active worldwide aiming at women’s contribution to international society as “Ambassador of Peace and Beauty. People, foods and scenery,,, They rediscover the charm of Kyushu with their own sensitivity and introduce what they found.

Tanabata (the Star Festival) which is also called “the Bamboo Festival” is one of the oldest festivals handed down from the old days in Japan. Ten representatives from countries at Miss International changed into Kimono and made a wish upon a star by hanging strips of paper that carry their wishes and ornaments on a bamboo tree.
